Good Times In The Making
You may never have experienced ice cream this good, and if you ever have, it was probably homemade on a White Mountain® Brand ice cream maker. Either way, investing in one now will bring you ice cream you'll never forget, and family memories that will last a lifetime.

The White Mountain® Experience started in the 1850's.
The White Mountain® Experience started in the 1850's. Founded in 1853, we've always been about making good times happen right at home; with ice cream you make yourself. The experience starts with the discussion—often the kids get their pick—of what flavor ice cream your family wants to make. Vanilla with bittersweet chocolate chips or maybe peach made with orchard fresh peaches. Every delicious choice is limited only by your imagination. Just set up your White Mountain® Ice Cream Maker with ice and rock salt, and let the fun begin. Whether you're cooling off a hot summer picnic or warming up a homebound winter weekend, the experience is one you can't put a price on.
There's no good reason to change a thing.
There's no good reason to change a thing.
In over 150 years, not much has changed about the marvelous White Mountain® Ice Cream maker. Our reputation was built on quality and it always will be. Our wooden bucket is made from select pine tongue and groove planks from New England, tightly secured with sturdy metal bands. The wood is finished with three coats of stain, sealer and lacquer for years and years of use. We keep our standards high because we know your White Mountain® Ice Cream Maker most likely will become part of a family tradition passed from one generation to the next.
We make it easy for you to make it good.
For engaging the whole family, we still offer our original hand crank version Young and old share in the fun as you take turns and wait for the rich, creamy outcome. It takes some effort, but it's hardly work. Not when you taste the result.
In 1953 we introduced an electric motor powered unit that revolutionized homemade ice cream making. Our state-of-the-art commercial grade motor is rugged, dependable and has superior starting and running torque for churning and blending ice cream. It's not faster, just easier on your elbow.
Our secret is the triple-motion dasher.
Our secret is the triple-motion dasher.
At the heart of the White Mountain machine is a uniquely designed, twin-blade "dasher". The outer canister turns clockwise and the blades turn both clockwise and counter clockwise. That triple-motion action continuously folds the ingredient mixture from the outer walls back onto itself creating the smoothest and creamiest down home ice cream ever made.
Start making your own good times.
If you're longing for a time when life was less complicated and getting the family together for fun was... well, just plain simple—then you're ready for The White Mountain® Brand Experience. Is it better than store-bought? Of course it is. It's homemade ice cream made in your home... with the kind of family time that makes life worth it all.
Ice Cream Imagination

Who was the first to think of the idea for ice cream? During the sixth century, the Chinese came up with the earliest ice cream recipe made of milk from horses, goats, cows, and water buffalo. Because it did not taste perfect, they tried fruit and ice chips. Who’s ready for slushies?
